SO FRUSTRATING!!

I had this all ready to go and set for a publish date and it didn't go through. SORRY CLAIRE! I know this was suppose to be up before this but I wanted to show  everyone anyway!

Claire was the first person who wanted to do the collaboration project with me! She was great to work with too! Super sweet and understood needing to push it back a day.
Claire didn't give me a little blurb about her look but I think that can be good in a way! Find colors similar and use those or just go for the same design in completely different colors!
Here is here look:

How cute is this! definitely go check out Claire's blog. She does lots of things besides nail polish as well. Click HERE!!

So for my design is using three colors( she wanted to do three or more colors...I thought she said 3 or less.) So I went for kind of a Tron inspired look using Sh DVD and China Glaze For Audrey and Frostbite. So here is my easy  to do blue Tron look:)

Hope you guys like it!

Also today is the last day to enter my giveaway! so if you haven't done it do it! i also added new goodies that aren't pictured!

Challenge #2!!

Hey everyone! Today I have another cross-promotion challenge blog! Todays comes from Veronica at ChicandShiny. She wanted to do a tribal manicure, and as neither of us had done one that suited me just fine!

This is what Veronica had to say!

"I was inspired by the tribal nails done by SuPa Nails on Tumblr. She has so many awesome variations of the theme. I was obviously not so good at it, but it looks all right from far away (minus the nail I smudged)! Anyway, I used Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Black Out and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac. "

Here is her look:)
I love that she did the a-typical colors. So pretty! Go check out her blog! click............HERE!

So to balance Veronica with her a-typical color scheme I actually did one with the pretty standard colors. I did SH X-Treme polish in White On as a base color then I free- handed stripes with Confetti The Red Carpet, China Glaze Papaya Punch, and OPI's Suzi says Feng Shui. Then I took my Wet n Wild Black creme and went in and did all the details:)

Here is my look:

Hope you guys like both looks from challenge 2! Come back tomorrow for the next challenge look!

Love Ya!

p.s. I will start the next giveaway at 250, then the next at 500, 750 and so on just so you guys know the give away schedule!

Nautical Challlenge!

Hey everyone! So I had a few people want to do the nail art cross promotion challenge with me which I think is AMAZING!
The first person up on the rotation( there are I believe 4 other people interested) is Sophie from Freshairandfashion. She wanted to do a nautical themed nail art, which was super exciting for me as I have done one before but its been almost a year.

So here is what Sophie sent me:

"For this "nautical mani" theme, I wanted to try out my new striping tape! I used them in blue and white to create crisp lines. The ones at the tips didn't want to stay put but the ones closer to teh cuticle are lasting very well. I used nail cutters to cut the ends. They are self adhesive but I still used a top coat. The anchors were done with BM08 plate and then I freehanded over top to make them stand out more. I'm pretty happy with this manicure except that when I used my Revlon Quick Dry topcoat, it smudged the designs! You can really see it on the thumb.
The red polish is SH Hard as Nails "Cardinal" which is a favourite true red of mine. It applies very opaque and thin. It also dries quickly. The small brush makes it a bit messy to apply though. The blue is new! I finally found a great royal blue. It is LA Color Craze "Static Electricity". It's a jelly polish which isn't good for nail art but it does apply nicely. The first coat was streaky but the second leveled it out and I had no VNL (which you often get with jellies). The white polish is my stand by, SH Insta-Dri "Whiteout White"."

How cute is that manicure?! I love the striping and might have to go get some as I've never played with it before!

Everyone go check out Sophie's Blog! You know you wanna click HERE

For my nail art since I had gone the red, blue, white route with the previous nautical manicure I wanted to switch it up a little so I reached for my Sally Hansen X-Treme Polishes in Celeb City, Wet Cement, and White on. Here is what I came up with:)

I just went with the typical things you would see out at...sea lol! A swallow, an anchor, and the all important compass! Then of course you can't have the nautical manicure without the stripes!

Thanks again to Sophie for being so great about the challenge and stepping up and doing this with someone she didn't know. I had a lot of fun and I hope you did too!

If anyone else is interested in doing a challenge with me make sure and send me an email: forloveandpolish@gmail.com!

Love ya!

I have an idea!

So I was thinking about doing a theme week. But I need some help! I already have two people who are interested, and wanted to know if any of you would be also!

So I want to do a collaborative nail art look. I want to have the other person come up with the idea and then we will both do a nail art look based on that idea.Simple right? I will obviously link their blog or video whichever they prefer and would want them to do the same!

If any of you are interested just email me at forloveandpolish at gmail

Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!

I AM HOME!

I"m going on a trip

Hullo everyone!

I am  glad to see that you guys are entering the giveaway! I have added more to it as well so make sure you sign up!

I just wanted to pop on to let you all know I am going out of state for about a week so I wont be on ( they have dial up OMG *FAINTS*)

I will try to find somewhere with some wifi so I can come check on everything.

But for fun here is a tiny little post. My friend mel was in Guam and brought me back two island girl polishes one with heart glitter and one called surfing paradise. As soon as I saw it it screamed Zoya Charisma.

So I did island girl on one nail and zoya on the other. Can you tell me which is which?

I think they are pretty darn close:)

Have fun guessing and I will let you know when I get back!

I will miss you guys! Have a great week
